It has been a mixed day so far for West Virginia when it comes to undecided recruits.
The Mountaineers lost out on highly regarded players Joel Caleb (Virginia Tech) and Deaysean Rippy (Pitt). But they also got two big commitments from Adam Pankey and Travares Copeland.
Copeland, a three-star receiver out of Fort Pierce, Fla., picked the Mountaineers over FIU. Pankey, a two-star offensive lineman out of Hamilton, Ohio, signed with the Mountaineers after de-committing from Pitt.
West Virginia has now signed or gotten commitments from 12 players out of the state of Florida.
