We conclude our series looking at the biggest shoes to fill at every school in the Big East.
Up today: Temple.
Who's out: Adrian Robinson. Not only did Robinson produce for the Owls, he was a stalwart on the defensive line. How much of a stalwart? Robinson played in every single game of his collegiate career, starting 38 games. He also made the All-MAC first team for three consecutive seasons, including being selected the 2009 MAC Defensive Player of the Year. Last season, Robinson finished fourth on the team with 52 tackles, including a team-best 13.5 tackles for loss, while adding an interception. He came up big in the bowl win over Wyoming, with five tackles -- 2.5 for loss -- and a sack.
Who's in: Marcus Green. The good news is that Green has game experience, having played in all 13 contests last season. But he obviously has not taken the number of reps required of a starter, and also is not as experienced playing the position, having made the move from linebacker. But coaches have enough confidence in him to have him at the top of the depth chart during spring practice.
