I'm sure there were many, many basketball games in which Greg Paulus never had five turnovers.

Today, though, he's thrown five interceptions. Credit the South Florida defense, which has been fierce in the second half. Jason Pierre-Paul has caused two of them, once by batting Paulus' arm on a throw and another time shedding a block and grabbing a screen pass, then running it in for a score. Nate Allen also has two picks on the day.

I've got a feeling this Bulls' defense is going to make life rough on a lot of quarterbacks this year. We may be witnessing a new South Florida, one that's ready to compete into October, not just September.
