How is Cincinnati coach Brian Kelly spending the bye weekend before the big game at South Florida? Well, he'll be at ESPN headquarters all day Friday to give more exposure to his No. 8-ranked Bearcats.
Kelly will be on ESPN2’s "First Take" at 11:20 a.m. ET, the Scott Van Pelt Show between 2-4 p.m., College Football Live from 3:30-4 p.m. and ESPNEWS at 3:10 p.m. He'll also tape segments for ESPN radio and "SportsCenter."
Kelly is perfect for this sort of thing. He's a born salesman who never shies away from a microphone or a question. Cincinnati could use the extra publicity as it tries to convince the public and poll voters that it's a deserving BCS title contender.
