Technical difficulties prevented me from completing the Big East chat, so please accept my apologies. There were several questions in the queue I wanted to answer so check them out down below.

To take a look at what we talked about during the time the chat was live, here is the wrap.

Kevin in East Hartford, Conn.: Although UConn looked good last week I was more than a little concerned about the lack of production from our running game. UMass isn't that good and we seemed to really struggle on the ground. The new linemen had better get there act together quick because if we cannot run the ball against NC State I think there is NO shot at an upset..

AA: Correct, Kevin. I agree 100 percent. And took care to mention Lyle McCombs in my prediction. I asked Coach P about the lack of a run game and he said this, "There’s no question, we just did not do a good enough job blocking the front, which was a very formidable front, one of the real strong areas of their team so were going to have to do a better job of the details. We’re not going to change our run game, but we need to be more consistent. We had some good runs but we need to be more consistent in the run game."

Joe in NC: Andrea Adelson: "I think Cincinnati should be wearing red helmets." Are you talking about the flat red helmets that I have been hearing about?

AA: Yes, sir. Here is a look.

Chris, West Coast: AA- wondering if Louisville's D will be the weak link this year- that screen pass coverage was exremely suspect last week :( Teddy moved the ball exremely well, so will they meet an opponent this year they will have to worry about out scoring?

AA: North Carolina is going to be an extremely up-tempo spread team next week so that is going to be a huge test for this team, no question. And I do not think the D will be the weak link. It will get better. Don't forget they lost Dexter Heyman, who was really solid in the middle.

Aaron H. RU-LA-LA-LAND: I get what you are saying that the BE is a defense league first but if you have weapons and you have advantages at positions (were you might have two of the best 5 WR's in the league) you have to expose the other team with that. There's a fine line between getting NOVA comfortable and not putting your team in the best position to win. I just feel like it would be better for the running game if they passed to run (not vice versa). Their defense is too good to not take advantage of offensive matchups.

AA: Coaches like to run to set up the pass, and I am a big believer in that philosophy as well. You an do so many things when you run game is going right. Gives you more opportunity to be flexible and creative.

Terry in The 'Burgh: Hypothetical: Pitt goes 1-11, with only a nail-biter win at home over almost-mighty Gardner Webb to barely escape 0-fer (no longer an unthinkable scenario after Saturday's egg-laying?). In that case, does Chryst & company survive Year One? Should he/ they?

AA: The last thing Pittsburgh needs is to fire another coach.
