Does loss No. 1 spell the end for Teddy's Heisman campaign?
Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville: Like any kid, I loved Bazooka bubble gum growing up. Especially the comic wrapped around it. That was funny. So I was especially happy to find a piece in my mail, attached with a card of the Cardinals QB that stated: "Teddy Bridgewater: Armed with more than just bubble gum" — a reference to Bridgewater keeping gum in his socks during games. The Heisman campaign probably took a hit with Louisville's first loss Saturday, but you could hardly blame its sophomore signal caller: Bridgewater completed 36 of 49 passes for 424 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception. For the season, Bridgewater has completed 70.9 percent of his passes for 2,858 yards with 21 touchdowns and just five picks.
