A season-best three Big East teams are in this week's Top 25, topped of course by Cincinnati.
The Bearcats moved up to No. 5 in the Associated Press poll and No. 6 in the coaches' poll. They leaped past Boise State in the AP rankings but stayed behind the Broncos in the coaches' poll.
Meanwhile, Pitt and West Virginia each made their season debuts in the polls.
The 6-1 Panthers shot all the way up to No. 19 in the coaches' poll and No. 20 in the AP. West Virginia, which is 5-1, is 22nd in both polls.
South Florida fell out of the rankings after its loss to Cincinnati but is 28th in the AP poll and 27th in the coaches' rankings. The Bulls will be at Pittsburgh this week.
And remember, the first official BCS standings come out later this afternoon.
