Prince-Tyson Gulley, Eric Crume and Dyshawn Davis will all miss spring ball for Syracuse because of upper-body injuries that require surgery, the school announced Friday.

Dr. Brad Raphael performed the surgeries earlier this month, and the players' status for the 2013 season will be determined in June.

Gulley, a rising senior, was the Orange's second-leading rusher in 2012, netting 830 yards and nine touchdowns. He added 33 catches for 282 yards and two scores. Crume, a rising junior, netted 15 tackles, two tackles for loss, a quarterback hurry, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and a blocked kick.

Davis, a rising junior, was third on the team with 69 total tackles and second in tackles for loss, with 14. He added a sack, an interception, two pass breakups, one hurry and two fumble recoveries.
