With the NFL combine done, there is one big question remaining for the Big East.

Will the league produce a first-round pick?

There is no clear answer at this point. There are no Big East players on the latest Big Board from ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. Todd McShay has one listed in his updated ranking of the top 32 prospects available -- UConn cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson at No. 31. McShay writes, "Wreh-Wilson's overall skill set is strong. He plays with balance and body control in man coverage, and he's willing and effective in run support. He gained steam with a strong Senior Bowl and continued that at the combine."

The Big East has had at least one first-round pick for six straight seasons. Last year, Bruce Irvin was the surprise top pick out of the league, going No. 15 to Seattle. The last time the Big East did not produce a first-round pick was in 2006. The highest selection that year came in the third round -- Pitt guard Charles Spencer to Houston.

Is there anybody else who has a chance to get into the first round? All of that seems to be up for debate. To that end, here is a look at where former Big East players rank on Kiper's list of the top 5 prospects available at each position. I am including Pitt and Syracuse players here because they played their entire careers in the Big East.
  • Ryan Nassib, No. 5 quarterback. Could he end up in Buffalo with former Syracuse coach Doug Marrone?
  • Travis Kelce, No. 4 tight end. He has been limited with an injury but has incredible upside.
  • Justin Pugh, No. 5 tackle. Pugh has been listed here for some time.
  • Khaseem Greene, No. 2 outside linebacker. Says Kiper: "Greene isn't really a pass-rusher, more of a WLB who can chase down plays and take great angles sifting through the trash."
  • Sio Moore, No. 4 outside linebacker. Huge jump for Moore, who has been impressive during all-star and combine workouts.
