It is never too early to make your winter vacation plans, right?

The first national bowl projections were released Wednesday, with CBSSports.com's Jerry Palm forecasting where he thinks all 70 bowl-eligible teams will end up in December and January.

Not surprisingly, Louisville leads the Big East pack, as Palm slots the Cardinals into their second consecutive BCS bowl, this time the Fiesta against Texas.

Louisville is one of six teams from the conference that Palm has playing in the 2013 postseason, which would be one more than this past season (albeit in a conference that has two more teams). Pitt's move to the ACC means someone else finally must take its place in the BBVA Compass Bowl, and Palm sees USF as that team, facing Vanderbilt.

The Panthers aren't closing the door on their Big East brethren just yet, however, as Palm sees them in the Belk Bowl against Rutgers in what will be the Scarlet Knights' final game before its Big Ten move.

UCF gets the conference's second bowl spot, but might not get much of a postseason experience, as Palm slates the Knights for the Russell Athletic Bowl against Miami.

Palm also has Cincinnati in the Pinstripe Bowl against Iowa State and Houston in the Beef O'Brady's Bowl against Marshall.
