Louisville has three wins, and a different starting quarterback has won each of those games. Injuries have played a major role in the shuffling under center, but Cardinals coach Steve Kragthorpe said all three quarterbacks should be available this week for West Virginia.

"We've got a quarterback controversy now," he said. "We'll wait and see what happens during this week in practice."

Justin Burke started to open the season but was replaced in the Southern Miss game by Adam Froman. Both Froman and Burke were hurt against Cincinnati, and walk-on Will Stein led the team to victory against Arkansas State.

"To be honest with you, quarterback is one of my lesser concerns," Kragthorpe said. "We have three guys who are capable of playing, and they've shown that."

Froman would seem to have the inside edge if healthy. Kragthorpe said he hoped the junior would be ready to return from a sprained elbow at the end of last week, but that wasn't the case.

Star running back Victor Anderson (knee) didn't play against Arkansas State and has been banged up for the past few weeks. Kragthorpe said Anderson is "closer" to being healthy this week.
