The Big East is a hotbed for punters, and two of them have been named among the 10 semifinalists for the Ray Guy Award.

Cincinnati's Kevin Huber, a first-team All-American last year, and West Virginia's Pat McAfee, who also handles place-kicking duties, made the cut for the final 10. Huber was one of three finalists last season.

The other semifinalists are: Bryan Anger (California), Derek Epperson (Baylor), Ryan Donahue (Iowa), Matt Fodge (Oklahoma State), Chas Henry (Florida), Zoltan Mesko (Michigan), Louie Sakoda (Utah) and A.J. Trapasso (Ohio State).

Huber has a 45.8-yard punting average, which ranks sixth in the nation. McAfee is right behind him in seventh place with a 45.3-yard average.
