If Syracuse could just play Louisville six times per year, Greg Robinson would have a new longterm contract.

The Orange beat the Cardinals for the second straight year, this time 28-21 at the Carrier Dome. To put that in perspective, Syracuse has beaten only one other Big East game in Robinson's four years. It scored 38 last year at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and 28 tonight. The Orange can't score most weeks in the Big East, but they have Louisville's number.

And this wasn't some fluky game with a bunch of turnovers or big special teams plays. Syracuse just outplayed the Cardinals, who let an opportunity to be a factor in the Big East race slip through their fingers. Louisville and Connecticut are done as serious title contenders -- for now anyway.

Congrats to Syracuse and its players, who have competed hard all year and deserve this night of celebration. If only they could play Louisville some more.
