PITTSBURGH -- Tony Pike threw only three interceptions all season before today.
He has equaled that in three quarters against Pitt, and his latest pick stymied momentum for Cincinnati's big comeback.
The Bearcats somehow stuffed the Pitt running game in the third quarter and had the ball trailing by a score when Pike got picked off again. It's reminiscent of his Orange Bowl performance against Virginia Tech, when he had a four-interception disaster. The last one was a terrible underthrow, and Pike held his held hands to his head in disbelief.
Again, you have to wonder if Zach Collaros should get a shot, or if Brian Kelly is going to live or die with Pike.
