Rutgers needs receivers coach again

So what are your favorite memories from George McDonald's time at Rutgers?

During his reign as receivers coach, the Scarlet Knights never lost a game. Wideouts never dropped a ball. Of course, the McDonald era only lasted five days.

McDonald accepted the Rutgers assistant position last Wednesday. But on Monday, he informed head coach Greg Schiano that he was heading back to his former employer, the Cleveland Browns.

Perhaps McDonald didn't expect Eric Mangini to be retained as Browns head coach when he took the Rutgers job. Regardless, the Scarlet Knights again need to hire a receivers coach. And it remains an important position, because the only returning receiver who was productive last season is Mohamed Sanu, and he's still raw as a route runner.
