A postseason ranking of the Big East's top 30 players ...

No. 4

Jonathan Baldwin, WR, Pittsburgh, Soph.

Preseason rank: 6

Baldwin
Why him here: To watch Baldwin is to be in awe. Here's a 6-foot-5 wideout with a 40-inch vertical, blazing speed and airtight hands. When he's one-on-one with a defensive back down the field, it seems almost unfair.

After a solid debut in 2008, Baldwin became a more complete receiver as a sophomore. He had 57 catches for 1,111 yards (averaging 19.5 yards per catch) and eight touchdowns. And he finished strong, going over 100 yards receiving in each of Pitt's last three games.

There was still a sense that he could have done even more had the ball been thrown his way more frequently, especially near the goal line. Look for Baldwin to become an even bigger presence in 2010, and then he'll have to decide whether to take his tremendous talents to the NFL or return for his senior season.
