Temple completes coaching staff

By Andrea Adelson

New Temple coach Matt Rhule has completed his staff with the addition of Mike Siravo as linebackers coach on Thursday.

Siravo, who spent the past six seasons at Boston College, returns to Temple for his second stint. He coached the Owls linebackers in 2006 while also serving as the recruiting coordinator during Al Golden’s first season.

"We are happy to announce Mike Siravo’s return to Temple University,” Rhule said in a statement. "During his first tenure here at Temple, Mike helped rebuild our football program from top to bottom. He was responsible for bringing in the top-ranked recruiting class in the MAC in 2006, including current NFL players Steve Maneri and Andre Neblett. Mike knows what it takes to succeed at Temple. He is an excellent teacher and will motivate our players. We are happy to have him back with our team."
