UL assistant Hurtt gets NCAA notice
By Andrea Adelson
Louisville assistant Clint Hurtt has received an NCAA notice of allegations, a school spokesman confirmed Wednesday.
Hurtt was implicated by rogue Miami booster Nevin Shapiro in a Yahoo! Sports report several years ago. Hurtt was an assistant at Miami between 2006-09 before arriving in Louisville, where he has spent the past three seasons as defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator.
The NCAA delivered its notice of allegations to Miami on Tuesday night, closing a two-plus year investigation into the football and men's basketball programs. Miami has not disclosed the contents in the notice.
Louisville will not disclose what was in Hurtt's notice either, but it does deal with his time at Miami. The AP, citing a source, is reporting that Hurtt has been accused of violating "principles of ethical conduct" as part of the notice served to Miami.
