Big Ten football media days begin exactly a week from today, marking the official end of the "offseason" for yours truly. There will be no shortage of storylines in Chicago next week, with the big decisions about division alignment, scheduling and a potential championship game topping the agenda for league athletic directors.
I'll be lucky to get many days off between Aug. 2 and Thanksgiving, so I'm taking a few more while I can. Spent the weekend in Lake Tahoe, where I saw a Buckeye and a Nittany Lion. Also ate dinner Friday near the Stanford campus and sat right next to a table of Wolverines. Big Ten fans are everywhere!
