Michigan defense rattling WMU's Hiller

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Tim Hiller might be the senior quarterback in this game, but he doesn't look like one.

Michigan's defense has rattled Hiller in the first quarter, forcing either rushed or ill-advised throws. Hiller has completed just 3 of 11 passes and has not found any sort of rhythm. Even when he had time on a third-down throw, his pass sailed off a receiver's hands and into those of Michigan cornerback Boubacar Cissoko. Several of Hiller's passes have been too high for his targets.

Wolverines defensive end Brandon Graham told me Hiller's ability to get rid of the ball so quickly makes it tough to apply much pressure, but Graham and his line mates are finding different ways to disrupt the Broncos quarterback.
