Penn State coach Joe Paterno is back where he belongs -- on the sideline -- for the first time this season.
The 84-year-old, who suffered shoulder and pelvis injuries last month during a Penn State practice, will coach his first game from the sideline today against Eastern Michigan. Paterno spent the first three games coaching from the press box.
Penn State has a stool and a golf cart set up on the sideline, presumably to assist Paterno when he needs to rest. He used a cane when he walked off the team bus this morning, but didn't have the cane on the field during pregame warm-ups.
