As usual, Denard Robinson will appear on all the highlight shows tonight, thanks to his electrifying runs for the Michigan offense.
But it's hard to buy Robinson as a complete quarterback -- or Michigan as a legitimate Big Ten title contender -- after watching what has transpired in the second half. Robinson has thrown two interceptions and continues to look erratic on intermediate to long throws.
The junior has completed just 8 of 16 passes for 88 yards.
I expected more from Robinson as a passer than what we've seen so far this season. The consistency just hasn't bee there. While he can outrun pretty much any defense in the country, Big Ten teams will do a better job of forcing him to make tough throws.
Fortunately for Michigan, the defense continues to make big stops and the run game has been terrific.
Wolverines lead 28-7 midway through the fourth quarter.
