We both have LSU at the top (duh), but Brian lists Stanford at No. 2 and Alabama at No. 3, while I put Oklahoma State at No. 2 and dropped Alabama to No. 5. Might be harsh, but the Tide lost on their home field and struggled in two of the three phases (special teams and offense). In my book, that costs you in the rankings. Brian is more partial to Oregon -- he clearly has some fans in Pac-12 country -- while I like Oklahoma and Arkansas ahead of the Ducks. Arkansas is a really good football team that I believe isn't getting enough credit nationally.

Penn State is the first Big Ten team on both of our ballots, checking in at No. 10 on mine and No. 11 on Brian's. We both have Michigan State at No. 13, while Wisconsin appears one spot higher on Brian's ballot (No. 14) than mine (No. 15). Brian also has Nebraska one spot higher than I do -- No. 19 vs. No. 20 -- and we both have Michigan at No. 22 after its loss to Iowa. I like Georgia a lot more than Brian does, and he has Kansas State three spots higher than I do. Ohio State appears on my ballot for the second consecutive week, but the Buckeyes have to do more to impress Brian.
