The college football season is still about eight weeks away, but the summer recruiting showcase events are going on right now. One of the biggest, The Opening, takes place Thursday-Sunday at Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Ore. During that time 150 of the nation's top prospects -- most are 2013 recruits, and there are a few 2014 recruits -- will engage in training and competition. Coaches are prohibited from attending, but they'll keep close tabs on The Opening and other events, such as the Elite 11 finals.
