Saturday's action in the Big Ten begins with a pair of noon games, including two teams looking for a key Legends Division win and a pair of clubs seeking any kind of victory. Here's what is on tap in the early contests:

Iowa (4-3, 2-1 Big Ten) at Northwestern (6-2, 2-2), ESPN: Which Hawkeyes team shows up -- the one that dominated Minnesota and won at Michigan State, or the one that got steamrolled by Penn State last week and lost to Central Michigan? Northwestern has been similarly hard to figure out, rolling up double-digit leads in the fourth quarter against Nebraska and Penn State only to lose. The pressure is on Iowa quarterback James Vandenberg, especially with a banged-up offensive line and running back Mark Weisman still battling back from an ankle injury. Will Kain Colter see the ball more after saying this week that the Wildcats' offense lacked an identity? Both teams need this one to stay alive in the Legends race.

Indiana (2-5, 0-3) at Illinois (2-5, 0-3), Big Ten Network: The Hoosiers have lost five straight, while the Illini have dropped four in a row. At least Indiana has been highly competitive in each of its losses. Illinois, on the other hand, hasn't played a team within single digits in more than a month. Tim Beckman will try to get things turned around after a bye week, while Kevin Wilson seeks his first Big Ten win as a head coach.
