Penn State WR Norwood to return

Penn State starting wide receiver Jordan Norwood will return to the field Saturday night at Wisconsin (ESPN, 8 p.m. ET) after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury. Head coach Joe Paterno said on the Big Ten coaches' teleconference that Norwood practiced Monday and will be back for Wisconsin.

Norwood leads the Nittany Lions in both receiving yards (318) and touchdown receptions (4) despite appearing in only four games. He'll rejoin fellow senior wideouts Derrick Wiliams and Deon Butler.

Paterno isn't sure whether tight ends Mickey Shuler and Andrew Quarless will play Saturday after both sustained sprained ankles against Purdue.

"Both of those kids will be OK, but I'm not sure yet," Paterno said.

In other Penn State personnel news, cornerback A.J. Wallace expects to start his second consecutive game Saturday after being listed as a co-starter with Lydell Sargeant.
