There wasn't a ton of movement in the rankings after a hold-steady week in college football. Michigan State is climbing, and we've both got the Spartans all the way up to No. 17. I think they can continue to climb the rest of this month. ... Wisconsin maintains a top-15 ranking for both of us, as we remain more bullish on the Badgers than most of America. ... We didn't rank Minnesota, despite the Gophers' 7-2 record. Minnesota still lacks marquee wins but is getting closer to deserving Top 25 status. ... I was clearly wrong on Oklahoma State last week and made the adjustment this week, moving the Cowboys in and up to No. 15. ... Next week's rankings will be really interesting, after Stanford-Oregon and LSU-Alabama. Ohio State will be rooting for upsets.
