Purdue dismisses offensive lineman Brooks
By ESPN.com staff
Purdue has dismissed sophomore offensive lineman Monroe Brooks for "repeated conduct detrimental to the squad," according to a news release the team sent out Tuesday afternoon.
Brooks didn't appear in any games in 2008 or 2009. He began his career as a defensive tackle at Purdue before moving to the other side of the line.
The Palatine, Ill., native didn't participate in the Black & Gold Game on April 17 because of an injury.
