Purdue's spring roster is now finalized, and the team confirmed several personnel changes today.
Defensive end Preston Numa has been dismissed from the team, and wide receiver Alvin Blackmon was granted his release to transfer from the school. Numa, who was suspended for the 2008 season opener, did not play in two seasons with the team. Blackmon redshirted last fall and could have been in the mix at wide receiver.
Purdue also announced the additions of two walk-on wide receivers, freshman Chris Bates and sophomore Josh VanZant.
The Boilers open spring practice March 25.
