ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez has changed quarterbacks, going with redshirt freshman Steven Threet on the second series of the third quarter against Utah. Sophomore Nick Sheridan started the game and struggled. He was removed after a handoff to Sam McGuffie led to a fumble and a Utah recovery.

Threet, a redshirt freshman who transferred from Georgia Tech, made his collegiate debut. Michigan went three-and-out on his first series at the helm.
