Purdue to play in Little Caesars Bowl
By Brian Bennett
Purdue's first bowl game since 2007 will be in a familiar locale.
The Boilermakers will play Western Michigan in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl in Detroit. That's the same site where the Boilers beat Central Michigan in a 51-48 shootout in what was then known as the Motor City Bowl.
Western Michigan, which has the No. 8 pass offense in the country, lost 36-14 to Michigan and 23-20 to Illinois earlier this season.
The Boilermakers lead the all-time series 2-0, with the last win a 28-24 decision on Sept. 14, 2002.
