Previewing the Big Ten night game
By Brian Bennett
There's just one game under the lights tonight in the Big Ten. But it's a big one. A quick preview of the 8 p.m. (ET) game on ABC:
Wisconsin (3-1) at Nebraska (3-1): The Badgers gave the Huskers a rude welcome to the Big Ten last year in Madison. Nebraska has been smarting about that for a year and is in great position to do something about it now. Taylor Martinez suffered through a miserable game last year against Wisconsin but looks like a new quarterback this season. He's leading an offense that's averaging more than 50 points per game at home so far. Meanwhile, Joel Stave makes his first career road start at quarterback for Wisconsin, which finally started to find a small offensive groove last week against UTEP. The Huskers are averaging more than 317 rushing yards per game, while the Badgers are giving up fewer than 81 yards per game on the ground, so something's got to give there. Montee Ball and Rex Burkhead both look to bounce back from injury-plagued seasons. Oh, and wacky uniforms! What's not to love?
