BOSTON -- Bruins forward Chris Bourque stayed on the ice after the team’s game-day skate Thursday morning, and that usually means he will be a healthy scratch for the game. Following the skate, Bruins coach Claude Julien confirmed that the struggling Bourque will indeed watch from above tonight when his teammates take on the Buffalo Sabres. In Bourque’s place in the lineup will be Lane MacDermid.

Also, expect defenseman Adam McQuaid to return to the lineup after missing the last two games.

Here’s what the Bruins' roster should look like tonight:

Forwards
Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Daniel Paille-Chris Kelly-Rich Peverley
Lane MacDermid-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Defense
Zdeno Chara-Dougie Hamilton
Dennis Seidenberg-Johnny Boychuk
Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid

Goalies
Tuukka Rask
Anton Khudobin

OUR BOY'S GROWING UP: Tyler Seguin celebrates his 21st birthday today. When asked after the Bruins' game-day skate how he felt about the big day, he quipped: "It just means I'm one step closer to 30. Maybe I need to get a girlfriend now ... nah, just kidding.”
