Bruins get defenseman Partlett in swap

February, 7, 2014
WILMINGTON, Mass. – Prior to Friday’s 3 p.m. roster freeze, the Boston Bruins acquired defenseman Blake Partlett from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for forward Carter Camper.

Partlett, 24, has played 37 games this season for the Springfield Falcons of the AHL and has four goals and 14 assists for 18 points. Because the Bruins’ depth on the back end has been utilized this season, Partlett’s arrival helps to replenish the stock.

Partlett, 6-foot-1, 205-pounds, has played a total of 192 regular-season games in the AHL, including stints with the Hartford Wolf Pack, Connecticut Whale and Springfield.

Camper, 25, has played the last four seasons with the Providence Bruins and has 37 goals and 91 assists for 128 points in 170 games.
