BOSTON -- Prior to leaving for Detroit, the Bruins held an optional practice Monday morning at TD Garden.

Boston’s first-round Stanley Cup playoff series against the Red Wings is tied at a game apiece, with Games 3 and 4 set for Tuesday and Thursday at Joe Louis Arena.

The Bruins’ Shawn Thornton, Jordan Caron, Torey Krug, Corey Potter, Kevan Miller and Chad Johnson all skated Monday morning. Also on the ice were Daniel Paille (head), Dennis Seidenberg (knee), Adam McQuaid (quad) and Matt Bartkowski (flu).

Julien said everyone would make the trip to Detroit.
