WILMINGTON, Mass. -- After having Monday off, the Boston Bruins are back on the practice ice this morning in preparation for their Northeast Division matchup against the Montreal Wednesday night at TD Garden.
Bruins coach Claude Julien is spending the first 30 minutes of practice this morning working on the power play. Each unit is working at opposite ends of the rink. One unit includes: Mark Recchi, Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, Zdeno Chara and Milan Lucic. The other consists of Steven Kampfer, Dennis Seidenberg, Michael Ryder, Gregory Campbell and Brad Marchand.
The Bruins' power play, which has struggled at times this season, is ranked 20th in the league. During Saturday's 2-0 loss to the San Jose Sharks, Boston went 0-for-4 on the PP.
