Patrice Bergeron, fresh off winning a gold medal with Team Canada on Sunday, won’t play tonight against the Canadiens. Bergeron injured his groin during the Olympics. He didn’t miss any games for Canada, but the Bruins are keeping him out of tonight's lineup.

“I pulled my groin in the first week of the tournament. It was fine and then the last game it got a little worse so it should be fine, but it’s day-to-day," he said.

In Bergeron's place, head coach Claude Julien will insert either Vladimir Sobotka or Byron Bitz. Sobotka centered a line between Marco Sturm and Miroslav Satan during morning line drills.
