The Bruins recalled defenseman Andy Wozniewski from Providence, the team announced Thursday.
It's the second time this season Wozniewski has been called up to Boston. He played two games and was scoreless.

Wozniewski, who was selected for next week's AHL All-Star Game, is second in scoring with Providence with a 7-20-27 lines in 38 games. He is minus-9.

The Bruins lost to Anaheim Wednesday night, 4-3, and it was unclear if any defensemen were injured. Dennis Wideman left the bench during the first period but soon returned. Johnny Boychuk was hit by the puck in the ribs in the second period but was able to stay in the game.
