No pressure on Bruins

BOSTON – The Boston Bruins held an optional skate this morning with only veteran defenseman Shane Hnidy and rookie forward Tyler Seguin participating.

The rest of the players got in their off-ice workouts and treatments in preparation for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the Montreal Canadiens.

The Bruins are clearly calm about the situation right now, and when Shawn Thornton was asked if the team is feeling any pressure going into tonight’s game, he said: “I think pressure is five kids, no job. This is just a game. It’s fun.”

That put the situation into perspective.
