Bruins have their first practice in Vancouver

VANCOUVER -- Greetings from Rogers Arena, where the Bruins have completed their first practice for the Stanley Cup finals. Everyone was present for practice and the team seemed to be in good spirits soaking in the atmosphere.

Team president Cam Neely just addressed the media and the majority of talk revolved around his Bruins facing off against his hometown Canucks, who traded him to Boston 25 years ago.

Have to give the NHL loads of credit for the way it has organized media day here. It’s my first time to Vancouver and both the city and the arena are amazing so far. The city is abuzz and, much like Boston, fans here are praying their team breaks their Stanley Cup jinx, which is now going on 40 years.

The Bruins are about to have their media availability, so stay with us here at ESPNBoston.com and on ESPN.com for live updates, tweets and more.
