Bruins remain positive for Game 2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Boston Bruins did not hold a morning skate today in preparation for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals tonight at Rogers Arena.

The Vancouver Canucks lead the series 1-0. The Bruins have been in this situation twice before in the playoffs, and both times Boston responded.

“We’re going into tonight’s game with positive thoughts and positive feelings,” said Bruins coach Claude Julien. “This isn’t unknown territory for us. Having done it certainly gives you the confidence to play the type of game you need to play in order to win. We need to do that tonight and we certainly don’t want to go to Boston down two games. This is a game that we feel is an important one for our hockey club. We took two days to talk about it and now it’s time to show it.”
