VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- For the most part, the Boston Bruins made it through the Stanley Cup playoffs relatively injury-free.

Besides Nathan Horton, who suffered a season-ending concussion in Game 3 against the Vancouver Canucks, the majority of the Bruins dealt with the normal aches and pains.

However, Bruins forward Milan Lucic and David Krejci have played through injuries. Lucic has been dealing with a severe toe injury. Krejci played through a right-shoulder injury, which he suffered in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Tampa Bay Lightning when he was on the receiving end of a hit by the Bolts’ M.A. Bergeron.

“Some days it was bad, but the last couple of games I didn’t even take any pain killers or any shots,” Krejci said. “It was getting better every day. It was fine.”
