Thanks to the Buffalo Sabres' 5-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, the Boston Bruins have clinched a playoff birth for the fifth straight season.

The Bruins -- who have 94 points, sit third in the Eastern Conference and first in the Northeast Division heading into their game with the New York Islanders on Saturday -- have made the playoffs in all five seasons Claude Julien has been head coach.

Following their game on Long Island Saturday, Boston will play the Rangers Sunday night and then return home to face the Penguins Tuesday night at TD Garden.
