Satan not concerned about the past

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Boston Bruins forward Miroslav Satan played eight seasons for the Buffalo Sabres. After the Bruins’ morning skate tThursday at HSBC Arena in preparation for Game 1 of their quarterfinal series against the Sabres, Satan said he’s not concerned with the past.

“Yeah,” he said bluntly. “In my mind I need to focus on this series and I don’t think I’ll have time to be thinking about history.”

Satan knows this series will be a close one and he expects Sabres fans to be into it.

“It’s always been great here,” said Satan. “Obviously it’s going to be loud. The playoffs mean a lot and that’s what I expect.”
