Lucic's drought cause for concern?
By Brendan Hall
BOSTON -- After leading the Bruins with 30 goals during the regular season, Milan Lucic’s play hit a plateau in this first-round series with Montreal. While he is credited with an assist on Nathan Horton’s game-winning goal in overtime in tonight’s Game 7, he failed to find the back of the net once this series.
Asked if Lucic is injured or otherwise not completely fine, head coach Claude Julien said, “I don’t know, it can’t be too bad, he set up the winning goal, so I think he’s OK.”
“But I know what you mean,” he continued. “I think he can probably, you’ve seen him, give more or, not necessarily give more, but produce more, and he knows himself that he’s fighting through it. We turn the page. Hopefully next round he gets better for us and has a better presence.”
