BOSTON -- Celtics captain Paul Pierce produced a SportsCenter-worthy moment with a thunderous fourth-quarter dunk over Toronto's Chris Bosh. But the play ruffled some feathers in the Raptors' locker room after Pierce appeared to taunt Bosh following the play.

Early in the fourth frame, Pierce blew past Rasho Nesterovic at the top of the key and drove hard down the lane. His knee appeared to ram into Bosh's abdomen as Toronto's forward leaped to defend. Pierce threw down a vicious one-handed slam, while Bosh spilled to the ground, clutching his stomach.

Pierce stared down at Bosh for a moment, and while he didn't appear to say anything, it prompted a technical foul as Pierce walked away. Celtics coach Doc Rivers was later assessed a technical as well.

"I think Pierce made a great play," said Raptors coach Jay Triano. "I just don't think when a guy gets hurt, that you stand over him and taunt him. So that's why I was upset and that's why the rest of the team was upset. I like the way that we fought back after that. I just don't think that's very sportsmanlike. Great play, but I don't think you need to stand there and taunt afterward."

Asked what happened on the play, Bosh said: "I got kneed in my pelvic region. I couldn't tell what was going on. I was looking at the ground pretty much."

As the Garden erupted and the Celtics' bench exploded in celebration, some Raptors players, including Hedo Turkoglu, wandered down the court toward Pierce.

"I'm checking to see if he's alright," said Jarrett Jack. "You know, I'm not going to chase somebody down there when I'm thinking he's seriously, seriously injured. And from my vantage point... it was a great play, I'm not going to take anything away from him. He was excited or whatever and I'm checking if my guy -- he was on the ground and wasn't moving for a minute. My first priority is going to see if he's alright.

"After I did that and I saw Hedo go up there by himself, I ran up there as well. I think we all have each other's back. I think the majority of us more-so crowded around Chris, just to make sure he was cool and alright."

Rasheed Wallace thoroughly enjoyed the dunk and thinks it'll remain a top highlight for the month of November.

"I told [Pierce] a couple minutes ago, 'I didn't see any of the other games tonight, but that's No. 1 so far, for the week and probably for the month,'" said Wallace.
