Eddie's old house

Celtics guard Eddie House has been on eight teams over 10 NBA seasons, but the only place he's spent more time than Boston is with the Miami Heat, whom the Green visit Sunday night.

The Heat picked House in the second round (37th overall) of the 2000 draft and he appeared in 169 games with Miami over three seasons. His path to Boston included time with the Clippers, Bucks, Bobcats, Kings, Suns and Nets.

And, given those travels, it's unlikely House harbors any extra emotions playing the team that drafted him. But he has produced some of his better games in recent memory in Miami.

During a January visit last season, House connected on 7 of 11 3-pointers and scored 25 points in a 98-83 triumph over the Heat. A year earlier, he drilled 5 of 9 attempts from beyond the arc and had 20 points in a lopsided 117-87 triumph on Jan. 29, 2008.

For his career, House is averaging 8.3 points and 2.4 3-pointers per game during visits to Miami.

This season, House went through a quiet stretch in early November, reaching double figures in just one of the first eight games this month. Over the past five games, he hasn't shot the 3-pointer exceptionally well, but he's increased his output, reaching double figures in three of those five contests.
