The Celtics moved up two spots this week to No. 6 in Marc Stein's weekly NBA power rankings on ESPN.com

Boston, which has won four straight, remains behind three of the four teams it lost to this season in the Suns (No. 2), Magic (3) and Hawks (5) -- and one team it beat in the Cavaliers (4). The Los Angeles Lakers stand firm at No. 1.

Writes Stein on the Celtics this week:
Ray Allen is shooting 30.1 percent from long range. Sheed [Rasheed Wallace] is 12-for-63 on 3s since sinking six 3s in Philly on Nov. 3. And Boston has given up 110 or more points three times ... after doing so just six times in '08-09.

Our take? A bit surprised to see the Celtics still stuck behind Cleveland considering the head-to-head win and the fact that the Cavaliers lost to Charlotte Friday night. Boston visits the Bobcats -- ranked 19th in the power rankings, but climbing with the addition of Stephen Jackson -- Tuesday night. While the Celtics haven't exactly looked like world-beaters as of late, their 13-4 mark looks even more impressive considering the teams they've lost to (aside from the Pacers).
