The Boston Celtics confirmed Tuesday night that center Kendrick Perkins made the team flight to Miami, while guard Eddie House did not.

Both Perkins and House missed Tuesday afternoon's practice in Waltham with flu-like symptoms. Perkins recovered enough to travel, but House stayed home battling a fever that potentially made him contagious to teammates.

Perkins would seem to be a game-time decision Wednesday night against the Heat, depending on his recovery from what coach Doc Rivers suggested was either flu-like symptoms or a stomach virus. Barring the unforeseen, House, who may travel to Miami Wednesday, appears out for the start of the trip, joining Kevin Garnett (hyperextended right knee) and Marquis Daniels (left thumb) as unable to play.

The Celtics are anticipating the return of starters Paul Pierce (right knee infection) and Rajon Rondo (sore left hamstring), though Rivers said both would be evaluated Wednesday before a final decision was made.
