The Celtics' trek up and down the ESPN.com NBA power rankings shows just how much of a rollercoaster the 2009-10 season has been. Peaking at No. 1 in December, then tumbling to No. 15 last week, the Celtics inched their way back up a bit to No. 11 this week and curator Marc Stein sounds as optimistic as ever about the Green -- one week after writing their epitaph.
"Scoff if you want, but Pierce, KG and Allen looked too spry and fiery in Dallas -- on the second night of a tough back-to-back -- to keep dissing. If those three can stay as fresh as they look now, Boston will be a factor."

The Green are likewise pegged at No. 11 in John Hollinger's daily statistical rankings.
